Core Node is a peer-to-peer compute node for macOS. If something is not behaving, here is what is worth checking first and how to reach a person.

Common situations

My node shows no available work

That is the expected state for a fresh install with no peers configured. The app is functioning; there is simply nothing offered to it yet.

A job was refused

A node declines work it cannot serve exactly — a missing asset, an unknown workload type, or a content hash that does not match. This is deliberate: running approximately the right thing silently is worse than refusing. The refusal names what was missing.

I have earnings but no payout method

That is by design. A node accrues from signed receipts before you choose a rail, and nothing about your earnings is lost while unclaimed.

I want to stop participating

Stop the node from the menu bar. It ceases accepting work immediately. Nothing is retained by us, because nothing was ever sent to us.

Privacy

Core Node collects nothing. The full policy is at mycorenode.com/privacy, including how your work is protected when it runs on another machine.
